Swamp: A Calendar of Events
Following is a highly selective listing of
events and activities offered to the public by private and county agencies that have
facilities within and near the Great Swamp watershed. Many of these organizations offer
far more activities than those listed, including day and weekend trips to other areas.

In addition to programs and activities, many of the agencies are also
staffed by naturalists and maintain extensive hiking trails, nature-center displays and
exhibits, and book sales. For many listings, advance registration is required; for all, it
