Three Area Residents Join GSWA
Board of Trustees
Three area residents have been elected to three-year terms on the GSWA
Board of Trustees, according to Board Chairman Dr. William A. Aiello.
The new trustees, all longtime Watershed Association members, are:
Marshall P. Bartlett of New Vernon, an adjunct professor of taxation at
Fairleigh Dickinson University, former general tax counsel for Exxon Co. International,
and a member of the Harding Township Planning Board;
Eugene R. Fox of Summit, a retired science teacher at Gov. Livingston High
School, New Providence, and an active volunteer with the Summit Historical Society; and
John A. Malay, Jr., of Basking Ridge, production manager at EBS Dealing
Resources, Parsippany, chairman of Bernards Township's Open Space Advisory Commission and
vice-chair of that town's Environmental Commission.
"With these appointments, we further strengthen our considerable
board expertise in environmental education and local environmental issues," Dr.
Aiello said. "In addition, John Malay brings us a welcome new competence that
will help us to make better use of the World Wide Web to support our programs and
projects."
The three appointments bring to 23 the number of GSWA board members.
Board members help set long-range goals and strategies of the Watershed Association, and
participate actively in its projects and programs. |
