David Budd Elected Chairman of
Board
David A. Budd, a resident of Morris Township, was
elected to a two-year term as Chairman of the Board of GSWA at the board's January 24
meeting. He succeeds William A. Aiello of Madison as the head of the 20-year-old
non-profit environmental organization.
As chair, Budd will lead a 22-member board of trustees
in setting the long-range goals and strategies of the Watershed Association. A
member of the Association since 1988, he has served at various times as its treasurer,
chairman of the development and finance committees, and, most recently, vice chairman.
A Harding Township resident for 14 years until last
year, he served on that municipality's Planning Board from 1991 to 2000, and on its
Environmental Commission from 1989 to 1998.
Budd is a co-founder and managing director of
McConnell, Budd & Downes, Inc., a Morristown-based registered broker/dealer and
investment-banking firm. He holds a B.A. degree from Hobart College and an M.B.A.in
finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. |
