'Eco-Discussion' Groups to Form

Curious about this area's geology, flora and fauna, history and current land use?  Then come to an introductory presentation on "Discovering A Sense Of Place," a discussion group to be held in GSWA's offices at 36 Main St., Madison, on Saturday, March 10, at 2 pm.  Presented through the Garden State Earth Institute and hosted by Louisa Lubiak (see article), the group will discuss readings on topics dealing with bioregionalism and natural history.    For more information, contact Lubiak at llubiak@greatswamp.org, or 973.966.1900.

Another discussion group, on "Deep Ecology," is also forming at Morris County's Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center on Southern Blvd., Chatham.

The introductory presentation will take place on Wednesday, March 7, at 7 pm. For more information, contact Julie Gibson at 973.635.6629.

After the initial presentations, attendees will be invited to attend eight discussion sessions.
