Kids Paint "Swampy" Windows

In honor of Earth Month and the "Do The Swamp Thing" celebration of family activities in and around the Great Swamp, students from the Unity Charter School decorated the windows in Kings Super Market in Morristown. The store window now sports a variety of swamp life ranging from salamanders and herons to birds and plant life.

Unity Charter School is a public K-8 school for environmental sustainability and is open to all residents of Morris County. For more information about the school, call 973-292-1808.

Great Swamp Watershed Association was created in 1981 to protect the Great Swamp watershed basin. Celebrating more than 20 years as a non-profit organization, the Watershed Association relies solely on membership and contributions to protect the continued health of our watershed's area. If you're not already a member, become one today. For more information and a listing of "Do The Swamp Thing, 2004" events, visit the Watershed Association website at www.greatswamp.org.
