DESCRIPTION:Email mhertgen@GreatSwamp.org to get on the waitlist or if you need to cancel. \nIf you cannot attend\, please be sure to cancel so we can invite the next person on the wait list. \n  \nFall Colors Paddle: 2:00 – 3:30 pm \n  \nCome out and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage along the banks of the Passaic River as we paddle the headwaters region of the Great Swamp. This area is full of wildlife\, native vegetion and beautiful views. All participants 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent. There are 7 spots available per session – only 2 spots per registration. All participants must be able to swim\, be comfortable on the water\, and wear clothes and footwear that can (and will) get wet and muddy. Life vests will be provided. \n  \n  \nIMPORTANT – Kayak Waiver: Each participant MUST submit one of the forms below. If the person is under the age of 18 then a parent or guardian must sign their form and assume responsibility for the minor. Please complete\, sign and bring the form(s) with you. The organizers will collect completed forms before put-in. \n\n\nAdult Attendee\nMinor Attendee\n\n\n\nThe meet up location is the Somerset County Park Commission Fisherman’s Parking Lot. \n

SUMMARY:Fall Community Clean-up at the CMA
DESCRIPTION:Earn some bonus points and pre-work off your Thanksgiving calories. We could use some help sprucing up the CMA for the winter. We spent a lot of time this summer building and replacing boardwalks and now the scrap wood needs to be hauled back out of the woods. Additionally\, we need to clean up the trails and prepare them for winter hiking! Feel free to wander the CMA when we’re done.  This is a fun workday that will leave you feeling satisfied that you have earned that extra piece of Thanksgiving pie! \nBe sure to wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather.

You’ll decorate your masterpiece with pinecones\, berries\, and other items found in nature. While your creativity blossoms\, you’ll learn more about the natural items being used in this craft. Hot cider will be served. Price covers everything you need to leave with a finished piece that’s ready to hang on your door or give as a gift. Hot cider and cookies will be served. Two sessions to choose from: 5-6:30 PM & 7-8:30 PM.
