Rain Barrel Challenge!

GSWA has from now until Earth Day to raise $5000 in our Rain Barrel Challenge, and if we do, the entire amount will be doubled!

HELP US FILL OUR RAIN BARREL!

Just as in water conservation, every drop counts! Help us to reach our Earth Day goal by donating today.
If we raise $5,000 by April 22, an anonymous friend of GSWA will contribute an additional $5,000 to GSWA. That money will help pay for all the things we are doing to protect our watershed.
We’ll be sending along tips every other day to help inspire you to go green for Earth Day:
TIP #1: INSTALL A RAIN BARREL
So what is a rain barrel anyway?
A rain barrel is a rain water storage system that connects to your home’s downspout. It collects the rain from your roof, which can be used to water plants and do other things around your property.
Aside from providing you with a free water source, rain barrels help to mitigate flooding and water pollution.

Rain barrels are easy to find! You can build your own, or purchase one at almost any large hardware store.
