MORRISTOWN, NJ – June 13, 2025 – The Great Swamp Watershed Association (GSWA) is excited to announce a giveaway of ten free tickets to their upcoming Great Swamp Great Music After Dark event. These tickets, each valued at $50, were generously donated by event sponsors Pipe Works Services, New Jersey American Water, and Atlantic Health.
Music lovers can request up to two complimentary tickets for this special evening of live music, delicious food, and fun. The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at Homestead Bar and Kitchen, located at 10 DeHart Street, Morristown, New Jersey.
Attendees will enjoy:
- Live music from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- A buffet dinner from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
- Drink specials from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (with proper ID)
The high-energy lineup features three fan-favorite bands:
- The Big Fuss: Known for their unique and charismatic classic rock style.
- Reservation Dogs: Presenting their distinctive catalog of original songs.
- The Dust-Ups: Recognized for blending down-home country with a punk rock spirit.
“Homestead Bar and Kitchen is the perfect venue for this exciting event,” said Val Thorpe, GSWA Director of Communications and Membership and event producer. “Their retractable wall brings the outside in, so you can enjoy the show from the spacious outdoor patio or follow the breeze indoors and groove up-close with our amazing bands.”
Guests are also encouraged to participate in a 50/50 raffle. The drawing will take place at the close of the show, with the winner receiving 50 percent of the total funds collected. The remaining half supports GSWA’s vital mission of protecting and preserving clean water. The winner does not need to be present and will be notified on Monday, June 23, 2025. Convenient parking is available on-street and in a parking garage directly across from the venue.
To enter for a chance to receive up to two complimentary tickets, email VThorpe@GreatSwamp.org with the subject line “Free Music Tickets.” The body of your email must include your name, number of requested tickets (up to two), address, email, phone number, and briefly tell us why you care about protecting our environment. The deadline for consideration is 5:00 PM on Friday, June 20, 2025. Free ticket recipients will be notified by email by 6:00 PM that evening.
