Plastic bags officially banned in NJ

It Could Not Have Happened to a Better State!
There’s a lot of uncertainty today, but one thing we DO know is that we got some great news today… New Jersey officially passed a statewide law banning plastic bags and other single-use items that are harmful to our environment!

This bill, which was passed by state lawmakers in September and signed by Gov. Phil Murphy this morning, applies to single-use bags, paper bags, plastic straws, and polystyrene (Styrofoam) food containers. Called “the strictest stance against single-use plastics in the nation,” it’s a giant step forward in reducing the waste generated here in our state, helping to mitigate climate change.
