This live Music Festival features 4 of our favorite local bands: Not Enough Jeffs The Gammon Brothers Hub Hollow Stomp Box Get comfy under the tent or relax and enjoy the sunshine out in the polo field for this family-friendly event. Get a bite to eat from a variety of food vendors, grab a drink, and be sure to leave some room for ice cream, served out of a 1950’s custom ice cream truck. You’ll also want to browse these historic grounds and check out the unique and interesting items for sale by our local merchandise vendors. GSWA is thrilled to honor former New Jersey Governor, Thomas Kean, at our 2018 Gala & Silent Auction, held at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park. Governor Kean remains to this day one of the most popular governors in New Jersey history. We are honoring the governor for his environmental leadership during his administration for enacting landmark protections for New Jersey's shoreline and freshwater wetlands. Following his gubernatorial role, Gov. Kean built an accomplished career; he served as president of Drew University, in 1997 was appointed as an Advisory Board member of President Clinton's One America Initiative, and in 2002, as Chairman of the 9/11 Commission. Back by popular demand, it's the GSWA Pub Quiz! Join us for hot pizza, cold beer, and lots of laughs. Play for prizes and bragging rights. Gather up to three of your knowledgeable friends and brush up on your water quality and enviro facts. Your friends being party poopers? No worries - we'll team you up with other enthusiastic players. Ages 10 and older are welcome. Teams must have at least 1 member 18+ to compete; maximum team size: 4; maximum number of teams: 9. FREE beer* & pizza! $15 entry fee covers quiz participation. Questions will range from beginner to expert level. For example: If night active animals are known as nocturnal, what are dawn and dusk active animals known as? Answer: Crepuscular *Must be 21+ to drink alcoholic beverages. ID will be checked. Limit 2 drinks/person. This will event fill up fast and space is limited so, register today!
